The chart, however, is inaccurate - current law requires that for one
category of 501(c)(3) organizations, namely, private foundations
 (which are generally grant-making entities set up by an individual, family
or corporation - such as the Gates Foundation or Ford Foundation),
donors must be publicly disclosed as part of the Annual Information Report
on Form 990. Other 501(c)'s do not have to publicly disclose
their Schedule B donor list, which does go to the IRS.
