        New research on electoral violence

A workshop on electoral integrity met in Chicago on 28 August 2013. New 
research includes Katherine Collin's on peacemaking referendums, Jeff 
Conroy-Krutz and Devra Moehler on ballot design in Uganda, Patrick Kuhn 
on ethnic voting and violence, and Thad Hall on fraud in Ukrainian 
elections, amongst many others. All papers are available for download

        Electoral Studies

A special issue on electoral integrity is forthcoming in/Electoral 
Studies/.  Papers include Pippa Norris on the new research agenda, 
Netina Tan on Singapore's election laws, Toby James on UK election 
management, and Tavishi Bhasin and Jennifer Gandhi on repression in 
authoritarian elections. In press versions of the articles are available
