Someone needs to get Vince McAllister to watch "The Distinguished
Gentleman," a great Eddie Murphy turn on Congress, which includes this
exchange between a lobbyist and "Tommy" (Eddie Murphy, the accidental
Congressman):

The writer, Marty Kaplan, had worked for Walter Mondale, so let's assume
there was at least a remote basis for this two decades ago

your positions on a few issues.

For instance, where are you on sugar price supports?

Tommy has no idea, but he's certainly open to suggestions.

TOMMY

Sugar price supports. Where do you think I should be, Tommy?

O'CONNOR

Shit -- makes no difference to me. If you're for 'em, I got money for

you from my sugar producers in Louisiana and Hawaii. If you're

against 'em, I got money for you from the candy manufacturers.

TOMMY

You pick.

O'CONNOR
