[EL] Wisconsin John Doe decision

Does anyone know why the opinion contains no discussion of /Younger/ 
abstention?  Did the state officials not offer that defense?  The State 
of Oregon recently succeeded in having a similar case here dismissed by 
a U.S. District Court magistrate on that basis.
