[EL] Iowa Supreme Court dismisses campaign speech libel damages

The Iowa Supreme Court, in the latest in an unusual rash of campaign-related cases, has unanimously overturned $231,000 in damages awarded to a state senator who alleged that his opponent's campaign ads in 2010 defamed him. Details and background here:
