Hi all,

Did anyone attend the oral argument this morning in the Alabama redistricting case?  I just skimmed the transcript and got the impression that there were not five votes on the Court at this point to find that Alabama engaged in a racial gerrymander, but that there was some possibility of consensus surrounding sending it back to the district court to undertake a district-by-district analysis.  Is that about right?  Sometimes being in the room leaves one with a different impression than reading the transcript.  Thanks.
