[EL] for anyone who lives in Massachusetts

I am hoping to find someone on this list who lives in Massachusetts and who is concerned about the odd plight of Massachusetts general election voters this year (and in many past years as well).

Massachusetts has the nation's most restrictive ballot access law for candidates seeking a place on a primary ballot to run for US House.

Not unsurprisingly, Massachusetts is also the only state this year in which over one-half of the US House races have only one candidate on the ballot.  Massachusetts has 9 seats, and in 6 of them, only a Democrat is on the ballot.

The mainstream press in Massachusetts seems utterly oblivious to this state of affairs.  I have even seen an article in one of the daily papers in Boston that talked about the huge number of one-candidate elections for federal and state office, but did not mention the ballot access laws.  I tried to put a comment under the article but it never showed up.  I would love to be in touch with Massachusetts politics commentators who might take an interest in this.  Or, if anyone is connected with any Massachusetts legislator, please get in touch with me.
