[EL] Drop the pretext

Hi,
Why would that be so?
You would still have to determine what constitutes a contribution for purposes of reporting, would you not?
Moreover, why would those donors who may enjoy anonymity now (whether because of lack of enforcement or other issues) give that up?
Finally, is there an outcome from significant changes to campaign finance law that has played out exactly as predicted by courts, commentators, and others?

Why not just drop the pretext, eliminate the limits on contributions to candidates, and be done with the super PACs and IEs?
