[EL] does anyone know if any compilation has been made of Dem & Rep national total for US House?

Another fun statistic (from my own calculations, so subject to my own error): only seven incumbents lost reelection on Tuesday. Five lost in the primary, and 42 didn’t run again. Among the 393 incumbents who chose to run again, 97% were reelected. A bit of a disconnect from the “voters want to drain the swamp” narrative we’ve heard about this election.
