[EL] Grokking Trump

Now that the exchange over Trump's claims has cooled, here's a thought.

If folks on this list are going to focus on Trump's various statements, it
may be worth keeping in mind an observation made by Salena Zito:

Journalists take what Trump says literally, but not seriously.
Trump's supporters take what Trump says seriously, but not literally.

For those of us law types who are used to parsing language, this state of
affairs may be quite disconcerting, but it is what it is.
