Hi all:
This is a second notice call for authors.
Routledge Press has asked me to edit a volume entitled The Handbook of
Election Law and I am looking for potential authors for chapters in the
volume.
The goal of The Handbook of Election Law would be to provide a
comprehensive, scholarly and clearly-written handbook on the critical
cases, concepts, controversies, and issues examining the topic of election
law, primarily in democratic and emerging democratic countries across the
world. The proposal is for a 20-25 entry volume written by prominent
scholars and experts that will appeal to scholars and advanced students.
This handbook will also contain appropriate illustrations, pictures,
tables, and charts to accompany the subject matter. Each of the
commissioned articles would be approximately 5,000-8,000 words. The
contributors would receive Routledge books of their choice to the value of
$300/£230 and a copy of the handbook
My tentative table of contents includes topics listed at the end of this
announcement, however I am clearly open to other ideas and variations on
this proposed ideas. You will note that the focus should be broader than
the United States. I already do have a few of these topics assigned but
please still do contact me if interested.
If you are interested ( or know someone who might be interested) in
proposing one these topics to do please let me know by sending an email to
me indicating the topic, including a few sentences regarding how you would
approach the topic, and a brief bio (including institutional affiliation).
Once I assemble all this I will be able to finalize the proposal with the
publisher and then I can let you know about deadlines, style requirements,
etc.
I think this is an exciting project. Please contact David Schultz at
Hamline University at dschultz at hamline.edu . Thank you.
