The most chilling thing about the story is that its sources are "Republican
lawyers, strategists and advisers involved in the effort" who voluntarily
-- pridefully, it appears -- "described" to the *Times *their despicable
efforts to sow doubts about election integrity without regard to whether
there's any evidentiary basis for it. I'd say we've hit rock bottom,
except that by now of course we've learned there's no such thing.
