[EL] HAVA Verification Requirements

Hi,

I am trying to get an in-depth understanding of how states implement the voter registration verification requirements of HAVA Section 303(a)(5) and Section 303(b), especially with respect to the role of motor vehicles departments in the process. Among other things, I'd like to know if states all implement the requirements in the same way (especially with respect to the connection to the DMV database) or whether there is a spectrum of practice based on differing interpretations. I have a list of detailed questions  -- is there anyone on this list who knows a lot on this issue and would be willing to share their expertise? If so, please PM me.
