Dear all,

Mara Suttmann-Lea and I are co-organizing the Election Sciences
conference-within-a-conference (CwC), to coincide with the 2021 Annual
Meeting of the Southern Political Science Association. We hope to draw from
the Election Law, Election Sciences, and Political Methodology circles.

Our theme for this CwC is: "looking back on a challenging year." We
encourage abstract submissions that look into institutional, administrative
and citizen-led initiatives to increase or restrict access to the ballot
box, broadly speaking. We also encourage submissions on institutional and
administrative responses to COVID-19, as well as how those responses
performed.

We will consider both full-panel submissions and single-paper abstracts.
Full-panel submissions, however, are greatly appreciated!

We also encourage submissions that involve undergraduate research, or a
discussion on how to involve students in election-related research.
Practitioner perspectives are welcome.

We plan to organize a roundtable discussion on non-academic careers in
election science. Stay tuned for details.

We aim for three panels of 4-5 papers, one of which may be focused on
collaboration with undergraduate students.

Please send your abstracts (250 words) to jack.santucci at gmail.com and/or
csuttmann at concoll.edu by Sunday, August 23.

Thanks,
Jack Santucci
