[EL] presidential succession; Speaker doesn't need to be a member of the House

I have no special knowledge about rules for who can be Speaker of the House, but I don't think the Constitution requires the speaker to be a member of the house.  I don't know if there are any limits on how long someone who has been chosen speaker is entitled to remain speaker, so if there were no election for US House in November 2020, I don't know how long Nancy Pelosi could remain Speaker.
I am only posting this because someone else posted a question about presidential succession after presidential and vice-presidential terms expire.
