Mass. recently extended
<https://news.ballotpedia.org/2020/05/04/massachusetts-becomes-the-first-state-to-allow-electronic-signatures-for-2020-ballot-initiative-petitions/>
its electronic signature accommodation to ballot initiative petitions.
Including one for Ranked-Choice Voting. :-)
As far as I know, initiative petitions generally require more signatures
than candidate filing petitions. That makes the ability to use
electronic signatures all the more important for initiatives.
