[EL] Newsom recall lawsuit

Chris writes, "If the process at step 2 were reasonably designed to 
choose a candidate with majority support or something close to it, then 
case for excluding a governor who failed at step 1 would be much stronger."
Related to that, a friend recently pointed out to me that one of the 
candidates on the ballot for step 2 (Dan Kapelovitz) has Ranked-Choice 
Voting as his lead platform position.  I haven't looked for others.
