[EL] “New York Mayor’s Race in Chaos After Elections Board Counts 135,000 Test Ballots”

Following up on Michael Parsons' post, Cambridge, Mass, and Ireland use the
"report at each stage" method. I once watched some of the Cambridge count
from a balcony in (I think) a high school basketball court. As each round
of counting was completed, the numbers were announced and a buzz went up in
the audience about the possible results of the next round.
