I was asked to pass the following job announcements along:

  1. Research analyst or senior research analyst, technology and elections<https://freedomhouse.org/careers/research-analyst-technology-elections>: This position will advance the organization’s research, advocacy, and policy work on technology and elections, and help oversee our Election Watch for the Digital Age<https://freedomhouse.org/report/election-watch-digital-age> research project. Applications accepted until March 7.
  2. Community engagement specialist, technology and democracy<https://freedomhouse.org/careers/community-engagement-specialist>: This position will strengthen and oversee Freedom House’s engagement with digital rights organizations, independent experts, the private sector, multilateral and multistakeholder bodies, and other key audiences in support of a free and open internet. Applications accepted until March 14.
  3. Policy and advocacy officer or senior policy and advocacy officer, technology and democracy:<https://phe.tbe.taleo.net/phe01/ats/careers/requisition.jsp?org=FREEHOUS&cws=1&rid=1254> This position will play a key role in crafting Freedom House’s positive agenda for human rights in the digital age. In addition to tech and democracy broadly, the hired candidate will specifically advocate for policies that counter disinformation, online harassment, and online hate while protecting digital rights and access to a free and open internet. Applications accepted on a rolling basis, but I’d advise interested candidates to apply soon.
