[EL] Congress Put Pressure on the IRS to InvestigateConservative Tax-Ex

Hey, Joe, good to hear from you.

I'll cut to it, as well: I believe there are frictions in markets in the
short run. But they are overcome, overtime. (Are you calculating your
thresholds on an abacus? In a hut? With a white, short-sleeved shirt,
pocket protector and black tie?)

I believe that what passes for market failure too often isn't.

I believe markets are the only system most absent of coercion; that markets
allow individuals to process data and make choices, political and economic,
and believe there is no making them together, in the cognitive sense.

I think the, how did you put it, "single greatest threat facing our
country" is the belief that, whatever good is achieved by collective action
(and much is), that there is such a thing as collective consciousness or
collective salvation. Those preaching it, for the most part, I find,
haven't renounced ambition themselves, for their ambitions are mighty high.
Rather, it appears to me, they aim to harvest the ambitions and energy of
others, and by force if necessary.

Good luck with the Lobbying Thresholds!
