Urban Planning and Policy
Tapping cross-disciplinary expertise in law, planning and real estate, the Ziman Center hosts courses and programs and develops cutting-edge analysis of today's and tomorrow's real estate challenges.
A joint undertaking of UCLA Law and the UCLA Anderson School of Management, the Ziman Center draws upon diverse faculty with expertise in topics from architecture to geography. Abundant activities and programs, such as the Howard and Irene Levine Program in Housing and Social Responsibility and the annual Crocker Symposium inspire the next generation of business leaders and social entrepreneurs.
The center tackles the most critical real estate challenges facing society today — and formulates strategies for tomorrow. It has produced cutting-edge real estate and urban economic analyses, instituted valuable and timely industry activities, and provided meaningful public policy initiatives. The center is tightly coupled to the real estate community of Los Angeles, and its influence is renowned throughout the United States and abroad. In addition, the UCLA Ziman Center supports a broad range of real estate-related courses and sponsors a wide array of student organizations, programs and activities to augment student training and development.
