Visiting Students

Spend a semester or year in Los Angeles, learning from UCLA School of Law's world-renowned faculty, as part of your legal journey.

Thank you for your interest in applying as a visiting student to UCLA School of Law. Applications to visit for a full academic year from fall 2024 to spring 2025, or to visit for the fall 2024 semester only, will open on May 1.  Applications are due by June 30. Applications to visit for the spring 2025 semester only must be submitted by December 1.

Students from law schools that are only state-approved are not eligible for admission. The decision to accept visiting students is at the discretion of the school. Visiting students are required to pay all the UCLA School of Law fees and tuition, but will receive their law degree from their school of origin.

Your application for admission must be submitted through the LSAC online application service. Please note that the visiting application on the LSAC website says fall visiting application but this is the correct application for fall, fall and spring or spring only applications.
