Entertainment Transactions

This course will provide students with an understanding of the main types of agreements that are involved in the production and distribution of television, film and digital media; the key components of those deals; the players involved; and significant laws and risks relating to the transactions.  Through readings including the text, case studies involving real contracts, and relevant articles in entertainment-related publications, students will become familiar with legal and business aspects of the entertainment transactions.
