Insurance Law

Insurance issues figure prominently in many litigation and business matters. This course will introduce students to fundamental principles of insurance law and regulation. It will survey the nature and function of insurance, insurance contract formation and interpretation, and insurance regulation. We will also look at specific legal issues relating to property, life, health, and liability insurance.
