UCLA School of Law receives notices and information about various scholarships, fellowships and writing competitions sponsored by foundations, alumni associations, bar associations, etc. The Financial Aid Office will post applicable notices on this page or our intranet site as received.

FRESNO COUNTY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Fresno County Bar Association announces the availability of one spring 2019 scholarship award for second and third-year law students in the amount of $1,000.

PASADENA BAR ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
The PBA, with the additional support of Alternative Resolution Centers and Forensis Group, is proud to offer five scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to students enrolled in J.D. programs at UCLA, USC, Loyola, or Southwestern for the 2018-2019.

2018 LA ITALIAN AMERICAN LAWYERS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
Founded in 1977, the Los Angeles Italian American Lawyers Association (IALA) fosters friendship and networking among lawyers and judges interested in Italian-American heritage and affairs, provides Bar certified continuing education, and participates in civic and community activities to improve legal practice and ensure the proper administration of justice. As in prior years, one $3,000 scholarship will be awarded to a law student, and the recipient will be honored at IALA’s annual December Supreme Court night.

LAVENT LAW IMMIGRANT SCHOLARSHIP
Lavent Law is proud to offer a $3,500 scholarship to an immigrant who is a current or aspiring law student. This award will be based on an essay ranging from 500 – 1000 words on a topic of your choice.

PAUL AND DAISY SOROS FELLOWSHIPS FOR NEW AMERICANS
Each Fellowship supports one to two years of graduate study in any field and in any advanced degree-granting program in the United States. Each award is for up to $25,000 in stipend support, as well as 50 percent of required tuition and fees, up to $20,000 per year, for one to two years.

This scholarship is open to high-achieving law students who are the first in their family to attend law school. We will be awarding $1,500 to two (2) outstanding applicants.

The Los Angeles criminal defense law firm of Eisner Gorin LLP is offering a $3,000 scholarship to students who have an interest in pursuing a career in law. Our law firm partners understand the value of an education and the need to help students achieve their goal. Lemberg law is offering a $1,250 scholarship to a law student who fosters an entrepreneurial spirit of their own.  This scholarship is open to current or incoming law school students who are U.S. citizens, "Dreamers," or legal permanent residents.

Spolin Law, a Los Angeles based firm, has created a Civil Rights and Criminal Law Essay Competition, the winner of which will receive a $1,000 scholarship. The purpose of the scholarship is to raise awareness of criminal and civil rights issues and support students who can articulate the importance of these principles.

ARNOLD & ITKIN LLP ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
Arnold & Itkin LLP will award $5,000 to two current law students who share our passion for assisting the underprivileged and the victims of tragedy. Regardless of the area of law, the scholarship recipients should be focused on utilizing the legal system to support those less fortunate. All applicants should demonstrate both past and current dedication to victim advocacy and/or community service.
