J.D. Student Ambassador: Michael O'Key

Michael O'Key

Michael O’Key is a rising 2L at UCLA Law. He is also a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in Education at Stanford University. A first-generation student from Fayetteville, North Carolina, Michael serves as an Articles Editor on the UCLA National Black Law Journal, co-chairs El Centro’s Reentry Legal Clinic, and advocates for students with disabilities through the Education Rights Clinic. He is an active member of BLSA and in the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy. This summer, Michael is doing a judicial externship with the Honorable Myron H. Thompson in the United States District Court, Middle District of Alabama.
