Dear UCLA Law Community:

I am delighted to announce that the Rutter Award Selection Committee this year has chosen to honor Professor Dave Marcus with the Rutter Award for Excellence in Teaching. Professor Marcus thus becomes part of a remarkable group of extremely talented professors so honored. As anyone who has taken a course from Professor Marcus or observed either his teaching or other forms of student engagement can attest, he is someone who deeply and passionately cares about our students, and he manages not only to educate but to inspire. I am so pleased that we can recognize both his distinction in and his commitment to teaching with this award.

The award ceremony will take place in person on Wednesday, April 8th at 4:00 pm in Room 1447. The ceremony will be followed by a reception. Please RSVP here by Monday, March 30th to confirm your attendance.
