Lecturer in Law
Delaram Kamalpour is a proud triple Bruin. She graduated from UCLA College of Letters and Sciences in 2014 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Latin. She returned to UCLA School of Law in 2016, graduating with specializations in Public Interest Law and Policy and Critical Race Studies and participating in the Mock Trial team and Prison Law and Policy Program. As the Prison Law and Policy Program Fellow, she founded UCLA School of Law’s inaugural Connecting Art and Law for Liberation festival. She received the Criminal Justice Program’s award at her graduation in May 2019. Since graduating, she has worked as a Deputy Public Defender here in Los Angeles and is thrilled to have the opportunity to return to UCLA as a Lecturer.
