Senior Scholar in Residence
Nicole Langston is a Senior Scholar in Residence at UCLA School of Law and teaches Secured Transactions. Professor Langston is a bankruptcy scholar whose research examines the interplay between bankruptcy, commercial law, consumer law, and the social cost of debt to address economic inequality. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt Law School where she teaches Bankruptcy, Federal Income Tax, Secured Transactions, Consumer Credit, and a Poverty and Inequality seminar.
During her time in Residency at UCLA School of Law, Professor Langston will collaborate and engage in scholarly and intellectual activities with the UCLA law faculty in the Lowell Milken Institute for Business Law & Policy, Ziffren Institute for Media, Entertainment, Technology & Sports Law, and Critical Race Studies Program.
