Omarr Rambert ’20 is named to the Forbes '30 Under 30' list

Omarr Rambert ’20 wanted to be a lawyer since he was in fifth grade. While studying at UCLA Law, Rambert specialized in entertainment law, served as an editor of the UCLA Law Review and the National Black Law Journal and as social chair of the Black Law Students Association. Now, as an entertainment lawyer at Sheppard Mullin, Rambert has been named to the Forbes "30 Under 30" list.
“Being named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in the Hollywood and Entertainment category is an incredible honor," Rambert said. "A successful career in entertainment law has always been the goal, one that wouldn’t have been accomplished without UCLA Law. It was during my time there that I learned the foundation of the business and developed relationships that would be long-lasting and set me up for success moving forward.”
In the announcement, Forbes noted, "Distribution, licensing and intellectual property rights are some of the most important topics in Hollywood, and as an associate entertainment attorney at law firm Sheppard Mullin, Omarr Rambert sits at the intersection of all of it. Rambert works with clients that range from production studios to major brands; among the names he's worked with are BET Studios, Paramount Global, Spotify, Peloton, QVC, and more. One of his biggest wins in the last year? Working Lionsgate's $375 million acquisition of eOne, an independent content platform."
