Grace Sung Ehn Meng is the Assistant Dean of Public Interest Law Programs at UCLA School of Law.

In this role, Grace oversees the Office of Public Interest Counseling, the Judge Rand Schrader Pro Bono Program, and the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy, a prestigious academic specialization for students committed to public interest careers. These programs broadly further the law school’s mission of public service through teaching, training, and support for public interest students. They also serve as a hub and connector for the vibrant public interest community of students, faculty, and alumni at UCLA Law. Grace was previously the inaugural director of the Schrader Pro Bono Program.

Before joining UCLA School of Law, Grace was at Human Rights Watch for over a decade as a researcher and advocate for immigrant rights and human rights in the United States. Previously, she practiced immigration law in New York and advocated for immigrant garment workers as a Liman Fellow at the Asian Law Caucus in San Francisco.

Grace is a graduate of Yale College and Yale Law School.
