Economic Theory and the Law
Apply the tools of economic reasoning and theory to develop a more rational and effective legal system.
The Center for Law and Economics, along with the Lowell Milken Institute for Business Law & Policy, cosponsors the UCLA Law and Economics Workshop, which draws from the expertise of renowned faculty across UCLA, including the University’s Economics Department and Anderson School of Management, as well as visiting scholars. Students engage directly with faculty to discuss works in progress on a diverse slate of topics from contract law to intellectual property, as well as other legal disciplines.
