LAW 469

Comparative Corporate Law

In an increasingly globalized world, corporate law is international. Companies operate across borders, and lawyers are expected to understand foreign systems. This course provides both an introduction to comparative law in the corporate context and an opportunity for each student to compare U.S. corporate law with the corporate law of another country of the student’s choice. Each week, each student will apply the law of the student’s chosen country to a different fact scenario and then compare that law to Delaware corporate law.  Prerequisite: 230 Business Associations or the equivalent.
