Complex Finance Transactions

This course is designed to teach the basics of complex financing techniques commonly utilized by practicing lawyers in representing clients in raising capital in the global private institutional debt markets. The course will address leveraged and structured finance products, among others, and will highlight and analyze related legal and ethical issues. The course will also focus on how counsel can most effectively represent clients in these transactions, with an emphasis on structuring, documenting and negotiating transactions.Course is designed for students who are interested in practicing in the corporate or finance area in a commercial law setting.
