Regulation of Investment Funds


Business & Tax Law

Investment funds are a central component of the U.S. financial markets and the economy more generally. This seminar provides an overview of the regulation of the investment fund industry and major policy debates in that area of the law. As part of the course, we will examine mutual 
funds, hedge funds, and private equity funds. The grade will be based on a problem set. Students also can write their SAW paper as part of the course.
