Christian Vanderhooft

Lecturer in Law

Christian Vanderhooft is a Lecturer in Law at UCLA School of Law and teaches Legal Research and Writing. He previously practiced civil litigation at Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough and Parsons Behle & Latimer in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Mr. Vanderhooft received his B.S. from the University of Utah and his J.D. from UCLA School of Law. While in law school, he served as the Chief Executive Editor of the UCLA Law Review. He later clerked for the Los Angeles County Superior Court and Judge Tena Campbell of the United States District Court for the District of Utah. Recent publications include "Delegating Immigrant Admission Powers to the States" in the University of Cincinnati Law Review and "Bostock v. Clayton County and the Folly of Textualism: A Utah Case Study" in the Loyola Journal of Public Interest Law.
