Heather Richardson is a lecturer at UCLA School of Law and teaches Health Law & Policy (Law 326) in the Los Angeles Office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP where she specializes in health care, insurance, and class actions. She has represented health plans, insurers, and providers in a wide range of lawsuits ranging from reimbursement policy, coverage determinations, quality of care, provider contracting, and discrimination.

Professor Richardson received her B.A. cum laude in Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology and History from Yale University, her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, and her M.P.H. from the UCLA School of Public Health, where she was the recipient of the Ruth Roemer Social Justice Award.
