Jennifer Dixton

Lecturer in Law

Jennifer Dixton has practiced antitrust law with a focus on intellectual property for nearly twenty years as a government lawyer. Ms. Dixton enjoys teaching as an adjunct lecturer and teaches a seminar class on antitrust and intellectual property.

During her twenty-year career, Ms. Dixton has worked on a variety of civil and criminal antitrust investigations and policy and appellate matters. Ms. Dixton currently focuses on the intersection of antitrust law and intellectual property rights, standards development, technology, as well as antitrust compliance. Ms. Dixton was awarded the Assistant Attorney General’s Honorary Award in 2021 for her work on the COVID-19 Antitrust Advising Team and the Assistant Attorney General’s Award of Distinction in 2012 and the Internal Revenue Service Excellence Award in 2014 for her work on the municipal bond investigation.

Ms. Dixton received her LL.M. from the George Washington University Law School in 2004 (intellectual property), her J.D. (magna cum laude) from the Catholic University Columbus School of Law in 2000, and her B.A. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1997 (cum laude).
