Lecturer in Law
Phu Nguyen is a Lecturer in Law at UCLA School of Law and teaches The Court of Today: Administration, Authority and the Stuff of Adjudication. She currently works as Court Counsel at the Los Angeles Superior Court where she provides advice and counsel to judicial and executive leaders on a wide range of legal issues, including judicial ethics and authority, court administration, litigation and access and fairness issues. Prior to joining the court, Ms. Nguyen litigated intellectual property and business disputes in private practice; she also handled pro bono matters involving immigration and family law issues. Ms. Nguyen received her B.A. at Stanford University and her J.D. at Yale Law School.
