Jewish Law Students Association

Mission: The Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA) provides Jewish educational, professional, cultural, social, and spiritual programs and resources for the students and community of UCLA Law School, with the goal of creating an awareness of and fostering Jewish life and community at the law school.

JLSA holds discussions about current issues and events, and organizes mixers with other organizations to provide the opportunity for students to meet and become an active part of the law school community. Other activities include the celebration of Jewish holidays and hosting speakers on topics such as the relevance of Talmudic Law to modern law and practice; international law and the Arab-Israeli conflict; and the role of traditional Jewish values in modern law. JLSA also hosts career networking panels to provide law students with an opportunity to meet practicing lawyers in their fields of interest.
