
In January, five members of UCLA School of Law’s Emmett Institute on Climate Change and the Environment and Frank G. Wells Environmental Law Clinic submitted an amicus brief to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, challenging the Trump administration’s rollback of federal vehicle pollution and fuel economy standards.

Anna Spain Bradley, a scholar of international law, human rights, dispute resolution and racism, who currently serves as UCLA’s vice chancellor for equity, diversity and inclusion, has joined the UCLA School of Law faculty as a professor of law.
Spain Bradley came to UCLA’s Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in 2020 after serving as a law professor and the assistant vice provost for faculty development and diversity at the University of Colorado Boulder.

UCLA School of Law professors Kimberly Clausing and Máximo Langer have received faculty chair appointments in recognition of their substantial contributions to the study and teaching of tax law and policy and international criminal law and procedure.
