UCLA Law offers four degree programs and several areas of specialization for J.D., LL.M., and M.L.S. students.

The youngest among the top law schools in the nation, UCLA School of Law offers four degree programs in an innovative, challenging and collaborative learning environment: A rigorous and engaging Juris Doctor (J.D.) program, a dynamic Master of Laws (LL.M.) program, a Master of Legal Studies (M.L.S.) program for working professionals looking to gain insight into legal structures and legal thinking without planning to practice law, and a Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) program for those pursuing an academic career in law. J.D. students can elect to pursue specializations in seven specific areas; the school offers nine LLM. specializations; and, there are eight specializations for M.L.S. students. From our innovative curriculum to our robust array of clinics and the focused work of our centers, programs and institutes, UCLA Law offers students a dynamic path forward in the law.
