Bolstering its wealth of programs that expose students to the ins and outs of legal practice in sports, media and entertainment, the Ziffren Institute serves members of the UCLA Law community and members of the greater Los Angeles legal community with a Supplemental Practical Legal Education (SPLE) series of topical seminars.

Organized and conducted in partnership with leading law firms, the SPLE series brings media and entertainment law practitioners to the law school to delve into cutting-edge matters involving intellectual property, due diligence in television and motion picture transactions, contract negotiations, social media endorsement agreements and much more.
