(Rescheduled) Mapping Anti-CRT Politics

July 27, 2022 12:00 PM - 1:15 PM

Over the past two years, there has been a concerted effort by some in the conservative movement to create a moral panic around Critical Race Theory (CRT). Political candidates, like Glenn Youngkin of Virginia, have capitalized on this disinformation campaign to win their elections.

CRT Forward, an initiative launched out of UCLA School of Law's Critical Race Studies program, has identified trends that demonstrate a broader, more insidious connection between traditionally non-partisan school board elections and the pervasiveness of the anti-CRT disinformation campaign. As primaries take place across the country, join panelists in a discussion about the impact of the CRT disinformation campaign on local school board and state elections.

UCLA School of Law is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider. Up to 1.25 hour of general MCLE credit will be available.

Registration is required. To RSVP, please visit: https://ucla.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_MXjBb-6JRsiGZg-hkssVhA.
