David Zaheer is a Lecturer in Law at UCLA School of Law and will teach Private Merger and Acquisition Transactions during the 2025 January Term (J-Term). He currently is a Partner at Latham & Watkins LLP where he practices corporate law, including in the areas of M&A, capital markets and company representation. In the area of M&A, Mr. Zaheer advises buyers and sellers across industries, including entertainment and media, consumer packaged goods, real estate, healthcare, and technology. He has particular expertise in transactions with a joint venture component.

Mr. Zaheer received his B.A. cum laude at UCLA and his J.D. at USC (Order of the Coif). During law school, he was an Editor for the Interdisciplinary Law Journal.
